2. Our position: one functional cookie, nothing else
www.avencyx.com sets no analytics, advertising, tracking, or third-party cookies. The website is a static site with no login, no analytics, no advertising, no session tracking, and no third-party embedded content. The Avencyx Academy application form runs entirely in your browser and prepares an email; it sets no cookies. The website does not use local storage or similar technologies to store information on your device.
The only cookie we use is a strictly necessary, first-party preference cookie that remembers the language you choose:

Until you use the language switch, no cookie is set: on your first visit the homepage simply opens in Romanian if your browser lists Romanian among its preferred languages, and in English otherwise, based on the standard language header your browser sends with every request. That header is not stored.
Because the lang cookie is set only at your explicit request and serves solely to provide the functionality you asked for, it does not require consent under the GDPR and applicable Romanian ePrivacy legislation, and no cookie consent banner is shown. You can remove it at any time by deleting cookies for this site in your browser.
3. Third-party websites
Our website links to external platforms such as LinkedIn, Facebook, and Instagram. Following those links takes you to websites that operate under their own cookie and privacy policies, which we do not control. No data is sent to those platforms merely by visiting our website.
4. If this changes
If we ever introduce further cookies, we will update this policy beforehand, explain each cookie's purpose and duration, and — for any non-essential cookies — request your consent in accordance with the GDPR and applicable Romanian ePrivacy legislation before they are set.
