Cyber Academy

Avencyx Academy

Capability is built, not bought. Avencyx Academy develops the technical and executive skills that make resilience operational: hands-on training and exercises aligned to how attackers actually behave.

For security teams building depth in defensive and investigative disciplines, and for executives and crisis teams that need to practice incident decision-making before it counts.

Open programs

Two programs for professionals who work with information

For the first time, Avencyx Academy opens two programs with individual enrollment, built to the standard we work to with our clients: one for those who find, verify and document information, the other for those who must protect it. Both start from the Avencyx team's practice in investigations and incident response, not from textbooks, and use the field's established methods, standards and tools.

Each program runs over three days (18 hours of hands-on work), in a small group of at most 20 participants selected on the basis of an application, is delivered by a lead trainer and a co-trainer, and ends with a concrete result assessed individually against published criteria and with an Avencyx certificate stating the syllabus and learning outcomes.

Not sure which program fits you? Write us two lines about your work and we will answer directly. Ask us

For bar associations, newsrooms, chambers of notaries, professional bodies or teams of three or more, we organize dedicated editions, in person or live online, with examples adapted to your field. Request a dedicated edition

Programs are delivered in Romanian. Dedicated editions in English are available on request.

How we run open programs

The same rules for both programs, published before you apply.

Selection and prerequisites

Each program has published prerequisites and a defined audience. You apply through a five-minute form that prepares an email sent from your own address (nothing is stored on the site), we reply within three business days, and we tell you plainly if the program is not right for you. Groups are small, at most 20 participants, so that everyone actually does the work and gets help when they need it.

Casework, with verified AI

Around 70% of the time is hands-on: investigation cases, configurations on your own devices, incident simulations. Materials are synthetic or public, with documented provenance; we do not work on real people and we do not ask for your clients' data. We work with the tools, standards and methodologies established in each field, with no dependence on a single vendor, and AI is used as an assistant whose results are checked at the source and whose permissions are kept under control. A lead trainer and a co-trainer are in the room throughout.

Assessment against published criteria and an Avencyx certificate

The assessment criteria and their weights are published on each program's page. Your result — the investigation dossier, or the security plan and the configured controls — is assessed individually, with written feedback within five business days. The Avencyx certificate states the syllabus, the learning outcomes and the assessment result, and carries a unique, verifiable number. It is our own certificate, without national recognition; its value lies in what you produced, not in attendance.

Confidentiality: we do not publish the list of participants and we do not use their names or organizations in promotion without written consent. What is discussed in the room stays in the room.

How we work with organizations

  1. Assess capability needs

Identify the skills and decision paths your resilience actually depends on.

  2. Train hands-on

Realistic labs and scenarios grounded in current attacker behavior — not slideware.

  3. Exercise and validate

Test playbooks, roles, and decisions in exercises, and convert observations into improvement actions.

What you can evidence

Every program is designed to leave you with capability you can show — to your board, your auditors, and your regulators.

  • Practitioners trained against realistic attacker behavior
  • Executives practiced in incident decision-making before a real crisis
  • Playbooks and escalation paths validated through exercises
  • A measured path to durable in-house capability
  • Professionals holding an Avencyx certificate, earned against published criteria with an individually assessed result
